The Haas VF-9 vertical machining center has 84" x
40" x 30" (2,134 x 1,016 x 762 mm) xyz travels and is built utilizing
all American-made cast-iron components. Like every Haas machine, the VF-9

The Haas VF-9 is a rugged, large VMC that yields reliability
and accuracy in a large-framed machine. The VF-9 has a 40-taper cartridge
spindle driven by a 20 hp vector Dual-Drive (Y-Delta) motor. The VF-9 produces
either 75 ft-lb of torque at a low 1,200 rpm, or 250 ft-lb at 450 rpm with the
optional 2-speed gearbox -- and will also run up to 7,500 rpm in 1.2 seconds
for finishing aluminum. With a long list of standard features and
high-productivity options (many sold in discounted packages), the Haas VF-9 is
one of the best values available today.

that yields reliability and accuracy in a small-framed machine. The VF-9/50 has
a 50-taper cartridge spindle that's powered by a 30 hp vector Dual-Drive
(Y-Delta) motor running through the 2-speed geared head. The VF-9/50 will
produce 450 ft-lb of torque at a low 500 rpm, but will also run up to 5,000 rpm
in less than 5 seconds for finishing aluminum.
